Franchisee Profile
  All USA Subs franchisee candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • Strong sales and customer service abilities.
  • Well-developed people skills.
  • Friendly.
  • Strong focus on food quality and customer service.
  • Mature and stable.
  • High personal standards: excellence, honesty, integrity, etc.
  • Able to meet initial investment requirements.
  • Management skills and experience.
  • Motivated and willing to operate the business with a hands-on approach.
  • Strong leadership ability.
  • Attention to detail.

Targeted groups would include people with restaurant, customer service, or retail experience. USA Subs will typically require all franchisees to participate in the day-to-day activities of the business on a full-time basis. Passive ownership will be prohibited.

  Financial Requirements
 

Individuals will need $80,000 in non-borrowed personal resources (liquid assets, e.g. cash, marketable securities, stocks, etc…) along with an overall net worth (total assets minus total liabilities) of $300,000 to qualify. Financing is to be secured through third-party lending sources. The total cost of each unit varies by size and location.

  The Steps Involved

  1. After reviewing the USA Subs Franchise Information, the franchisee candidate fills out the USA Subs Franchisee Application and immediately returns the completed confidential application to the American Dream Franchising, LLC corporate office located at the following address:

    Attn: Dir. Of Franchising
    66 Crystal Ave.
    Derry, NH 03038

  2. The American Dream Franchising, LLC review committee reviews the application.
  3. An appointment is set with the qualified candidate to visit the American Dream Franchising, LLC corporate office.
  4. A questionnaire is completed by the franchisee candidate.
  5. If the USA Subs Franchisee candidate is approved he or she is given the Uniform Franchise Offering Circular and Franchise Agreement to review for ten days.
  6. After the ten day waiting period, a meeting is set up at the American Dream Franchising, LLC corporate office to sign the Uniform Franchise Offering Circular and Franchise Agreement. In addition, the Franchise Fee is paid.
  7. The USA Subs franchisee attends Orientation at American Dream Franchising, LLC corporate headquarters.
  8. Potential restaurant sites are submitted by franchisee for approval.
  9. Upon site approval, the following steps are taken:

    • A business entity is formed and bank accounts are opened by the franchisee.
    • A lease agreement is submitted to American Dream Franchising, LLC for approval.
    • Upon lease agreement approval, the lease is executed and a completed copy is sent to American Dream Franchising, LLC corporate headquarters.
    • Architectural drawings are completed and submitted to American Dream Franchising, LLC for approval.
    • Upon approval of the architectural drawings, construction bids are completed.
    • Construction begins.
    • Franchisee must successfully complete the USA Subs Franchisee Training Program.
    • Necessary suppliers and service accounts are established.
    • Initial food, paper and supply orders are placed (including employee uniforms).
    • Employees are hired and pre-opening training is completed.
    • Certificate of occupancy and health permits are obtained.
    • Final inspection
    • YOUR VERY OWN USA SUBS RESTAURANT OPENS FOR BUSINESS!
